GenPro specializes in solar trackers by Lorentz, Array Technologies and Zomeworks. Solar trackers allow your array to obtain greater insolation by constantly adjusting the angles of your array towards the direction of the sun. Tracker designs are either active or passive and single- or dual-axis.

Active trackers are motorized trackers that employ gear trains and a controller to adjust the angles of the array throughout the day. These are available as either single- or dual-axis, have greater resistance for high-wind environments, and automatically reposition themselves for morning insolation.

Passive trackers are a non-motorized type that works as the sun heats a low-boiling-point pressurized gas fluid within the tracker, tilting the array on its axis (typically single) due to the imbalance of the shifting liquid. The benefit to passive trackers are lower maintenence and (usually) a lower price tag.

Wattsun (residential)

Array Technologies manufactures Azimuth Trackers for medium-to-large residential PV systems. Our Azimuth Tracker gear drive rotates the PV array on the pole mount so the bottom edge of the array always remains parallel to the ground. The result: a low profile and exceptional stability in the wind.

A Dual-Axis Tracker enables automatic tracking of the sun's elevation as well. Dual-axis trackers completely capture all the power the sun delivers. Dual-Axis Tracking is included in the price of the AZ-225 Tracker and is an affordable option on the AZ-125 Tracker.

Incorporating over two decades of experience with tracker design and more than three decades of innovation of new products, Zomeworks has introduced the F-Series Track Rack™ Passive Solar Tracker to our line of UTR Universal Trackers. This tracker is our most popular design. It features an integral early morning rapid return system, is shipped partially assembled, is easy to install, and is module specific.
