Apartment Complex in Haiti

This residential plumbing system in Haiti was installed by GenPro dealer Drill-Tech in Haiti. It consists of five Lorentz solar water pumps, a purification system and a solar array that powers the system and provides electricity to the apartment building. In Haiti access to reliable electricity sources and clean drinking water can prove to be difficult. Renewable energy and water solutions powered give people access to power and water in areas that don't have infrastructure.

Boot Hill Ranch Oil Well

Boot Hill Ranch sits atop the bluffs just outside of Douglas, Wyoming. The terrain is rugged and isolated and there is no access to grid power. Traditionally, remote oil well pumps are run off of propane or diesel generators which can be costly and contribute to air pollution. Within one year of installation the pumpjack on Boot Hill Ranch had already stopped working. Every day that a well is not producing oil is a day that you are not making money. The owners of Boot Hill Ranch needed a solution that was cost efficient and could be quickly installed. Bruce Reed of Skull Creek, LLC had that solution, a LORENTZ solar-powered well pump.

Solar Power for Oil Production

Boot Hill Ranch sits atop the bluffs just outside of Douglas, Wyoming. The terrain is rugged and isolated and there is no access to grid power. It is a typical installation for small to mid-sized oil and natural gas producers.

Traditionally, remote oil well pumps are powered by propane or diesel generators which can be costly and contribute to air pollution, but the pump at Boot Hill is different. It is powered by solar energy.

As EPA restrictions get tougher and tougher around pollution from the oil and natural gas industry, it is smaller producers who are truly feeling the squeeze. By swiching to a solar-powered Lorentz oil & gas pump system, a solution can be put into place that maintains or increases current levels of production while reducing emissions, fines and generator fuel costs.

This small system change not only makes sense financially (a Lorentz pumping system is almost half the cost of a traditional pump jack), it can help bolster the image of the oil & gas industry.

PS1800 HR-23

The LORENTZ PS1800 series controller operates the ECDRIVE-1200 motor for up to 1800W of pumping power. Having four models of HR-series and eight models of C-series submersible water pump ends to choose from, for performance up to 820ft TDH or up to 233 GPM, these models fit a wide range of applications especially for higher volume pumping.

The HR series pump end is a progressive-cavity type pump. It uses a helical rotor to push small pockets of water through the pump end at high speed. Various models to choose from allow optimization for the head pressure or flow rate required.
